Yaw Anokye Frimpong

Head of Data & Analytics

Builds FlowWealth's economic and market datasets, and the data standards behind every published figure.

Biography

Yaw Anokye Frimpong leads FlowWealth's Data & Analytics function, which is responsible for the firm's economic indicator series, market data pipelines and the sourcing standards that every published FlowWealth figure must meet.

Ghana presents a specific data problem: many of the series that matter most to investors — Treasury auction results, monetary aggregates, GSE trading data — are published as documents rather than as machine-readable feeds, at irregular intervals, and are sometimes revised without notice. Yaw's work is to turn that into consistent, versioned time series in which every observation carries its source, its vintage and its revision history, so that a chart published by FlowWealth can be traced back to the original release.

Yaw designed the data standard applied across the FlowWealth platform: no figure is published without a source, a timestamp and an explicit status showing whether it is live, delayed, end-of-day or as-at a stated date.
